Why Sheer Minerals Mineral Liquid Foundation

I always recommend to customers to choose their makeup foundation based on their skin type. Those of us with mature skin should opt for foundations with hydrating formulas that contain ingredients to nourish the skin which can help mask concerns like fine lines and discoloration. The aloe and shea butter in this formulation really fit the bill.

Did you know that mica and titanium dioxide are natural, physical sun blockers? When coverage of the mineral liquid foundation is made evenly to the skin, it can help reduce sun exposure. It can also provide a natural barrier to the sun’s rays. That being said, I can’t make any SPF claims or ratings due to FDA guidelines. What I can say is that it provides Natural Sun Protection. I love knowing my face is protected every time I walk outside!

Brow Pomade Review (Sheer Minerals Makeup) – Lemongrass Spa Products

Brow Pomade Lemongrass Spa Products Medium and Dark

Introducing Sheer Minerals Brow Pomade by Lemongrass Spa Products! There are eye brow markers, pencils, pomades, waxes, powders, and gels. Walking down an aisle of brow products can have you sweating and stressing before you get halfway to the end!

I’ve used pencils, gels, markers, and powders on my brows over the years. I love this brow pomade so much. It’s easy to work with and looks great once I get everything in place. I can put it on very lightly for just a quick grocery-getting trip or I can build up to those bold Instagram brows for date night. One nice side effect of pomade is that it provides a little bit of hold on my brow hairs without the thickness or wax or gel.

The formula is all natural, vegan and gluten-free. Not only will the pomade make your brows look amazing but, with ingredients like these, they are going to be healthy and nourished too! Castor oil is a natural moisturizer, it can reduce acne symptoms, and it is anti-inflammatory. Candelilla wax is also hydrating. And we all know what a powerhouse Vitamin E is when it comes to good stuff for your skin.

You’ll find this brow pomade goes great with our mascara and foundation. Try the entire Sheer Minerals Makeup line for clean beauty you’re going to love!

Vitamin C Serum Review – Lemongrass Spa Products

Vitamin C Serum by Lemongrass Spa Products is a non-stop power product! Want brighter, tighter, and, overall better-looking skin? There’s a product for that!

This powerhouse ingredient is a potent antioxidant that helps reduce skin inflammation, irregular pigmentation, and promotes healthy collagen production. Lemongrass Spa Vitamin C Serum is enriched with vitamin C, plant stem cells, hyaluronic acid and fortifying MSM. The fast-absorbing formula revives your complexion, rebuilds elasticity, and retains hydration.

Amazing Testimonials

As I pointed out in the review video, I get a chance to see how our Lemongrass Spa Products work for a LOT of people. (There are almost 5,000 consultants in the Facebook group alone!!) I talked about one woman who saw improvement in her stretch marks by applying the Vitamin C Serum. We are also hearing how this serum is having amazing results on things like cold sores, Hand Foot And Mouth Disease, mosquito bite relief, and more.

Personally, I’ve had two more victories with this serum. I contracted pink eye at the beginning of the month – you know the symptoms, I won’t gross you out with the details. I would dab the serum over my eyelids, eyelashes, and tear ducts in the morning and there was absolutely no weeping of the eyes all day long! It was an amazing relief to have that symptom taken care of.

Also, I have an “issue” with the outer edge of my ear about every 8 to 9 months. The doctors I’ve talked to have no idea what the deal is. All I know is that it gets very itchy and sore and then some yucky stuff appears – once again, I’ll spare you the details. Suffice to say, I applied the Vitamin C Serum and within two days, the sore was healed! It usually takes a week or more!

Vitamin C is an amazing tool that we have in the work of health and healing both the inside and outside of the body! I’m super excited about using this product even more!

Ingredients

Vitamin C (Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate)

Obviously, the serum got it’s name from just one of the ingredients, vitamin C, so I’ll start there. The big-girl words for it are “sodium ascorbyl phosphate”, the form we use because it is the most stable form of vitamin C. This powerful antioxidant slows down the aging process including lines and wrinkles. It also protects against UV damage, preventing sunburn and makes sunscreens stronger. If you have acne, vitamin C is going to be one of your best friends. This particular form of vitamin C also can lighten your skin tone and fade certain discolorations. Anyone else want to take a bath in this stuff?? (Simple Skincare Science was an amazing resource for this information.)

MSM (Dimethyl Sulfone)

MSM, or dimethyl sulfone, has a long list of benefits and I can’t wait to put it on my skin again! IngredientsToDieFor.com said this is “nature’s beauty mineral due to it’s ability to enhance collagen bundles and restore the foundation for healthy skin.” It’s an essential ingredient in anti-aging and firming treatments as well. And just having it along with all the other great ingredients in this serum makes those ingredients absorb even better. Did they just say treatment for scar tissue and stretch marks?? Sign me up!

Plant Based Hyaluronic Acid (Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide)

Since you probably don’t want to read a medical journal and my SEO analyzer is telling me this article is getting too dry 🙂 I’ll just list the benefits here for you! Best known for hydrating by binding moisture to skin, plumping fine lines, skin softening, reducing inflammation, and promoting skin repair.

It’s no wonder this Vitamin C Serum is being talked about as a wonder product – and those are only three of the ingredients! I didn’t even begin to talk about the gotu kola, horsetail extract, dandelion extract and more!

The Lemongrass Spa Products Vitamin C Serum comes in a 1 ounce glass jar with a dropper for easy application.

Best Face Mist Review with Lemongrass Spa Products

When you ask for the best face mist, I get to suggest not just one but FOUR face mists for you to consider! Usually, when I’m looking for facial mist, I want it to tone my skin. A good toner will bring balance to your skin.

Bring Balance

What exactly are we balancing when we apply toner? The pH balance in our skin! (Our Prebiotic Facial Mist also helps to balance the microorganisms that live on our skin.) There are so many factors that can upset the delicate balance of our skin. From pollution and other environmental stressors to the makeup and lotions we put on our face. Using a toning and balancing product regularly can help to restore that balance. Watch for your radiant complexion to start showing up!

Did you know that the pH scales ranges from 1 (acidic) to 14 (alkaline)? The most neutral pH is a 7. Skin’s natural pH is somewhere around the 5.5 level says Patricia Wexler, MD, a New York City dermatologist in this article of Women’s Health Magazine. If your skin is too alkaline, you’ll start to see more dryness and wrinkling. Which is why witch hazel is a perfect additional to the Rose Water Facial Mist – at a pH of around 3.5 to 4.5 it is just acidic enough.

Choices

Our Set & Refresh Mist does double duty! Not only is it used as a makeup setting spray, but also as one of the best face mist choices. This is a lightweight, vegan face mist that keeps your makeup in place while protecting against environmental pollutants. For a mid-day hydration boost, use this neroli-infused formula for an instant refresh. Great for all skin types.

Prebiotic Facial Mist helps improve and restore conditions such as scars, rosacea, acne and redness anywhere on the body. The best face mist that can improve the skin’s texture without destroying good bacteria is a winner in my book! Your skin will feel hydrated and rejuvenated. The innovative formula balances pH and feeds the skin with essential nutrients.

Tea Tree Facial Mist is infused with tea tree, grapefruit, lemongrass and orange essential oils to enhance skin’s texture and help prevent blemishes.

Rose Water Facial Mist refreshes and balances your skin, leaving a glowing, dewy finish. Soothing aloe and refreshing coconut water are infused with youth-boosting moisture-enhancing rose water to tone, hydrate and soften while witch hazel serves as an effective anti-inflammatory and pH balancer.

Sheer Minerals Mineral Makeup Primer Review – Lemongrass Spa Products

Sheer Minerals Mineral Makeup Primer Lemongrass Spa Products

The first step in a makeup look that is fresh and natural and on point should always be primer! I know it seems like you could take it or leave it and the end result would still be the same – but I promise you, there are so many reasons to use primer. Especially when you’re talking about the Sheer Minerals Mineral Makeup Primer.

Newly reformulated, this mineral primer prepares your skin for flawless makeup application by creating a smooth, silky canvas – rice powder helps absorb extra oil and also helps makeup last longer.

Have you ever started to blend in your makeup only to find that it is just not sitting right on your face? I can’t stand when makeup gathers in lines and different areas of my face. Our Mineral Makeup Primer is designed to prevent exactly that scenario and you’ll be so much happier with your foundation application when this primer is in place first. It creates an even base on which to blend your foundation and concealer by minimizing the appearance of redness, pores, and imperfections.

The anti-aging power comes from several ingredients but my favorite is the resveratrol – what a power packed ingredient! It’s an antioxidant found in red grapes, nuts and other fruits that can help calm skin’s redness (which strikes more as we age) and can protect your skin from the damage of our environment.

New and improved Primer has added anti-aging ingredients to help protect and restore as well as more organic ingredients. Dual purpose formula prepares skin for flawless makeup application by creating a smooth, silky surface. Enriched with green tea, rosehip and resveratrol for hydrating antioxidant benefits.

Ingredients: aqua (water), aloe barbadensis* (aloe vera) juice, simmondsia chinensis* (jojoba) oil, squalane (plant-derived), glycerin* (plant-derived), silica, oryza sativa (rice) starch, tocopherol (vitamin E), euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, hydroxyethylcellulose, camellia sinensis (green tea) extract, rosa canina (rosehip) seed oil, resveratrol, origanum vulgare* (oregano) leaf extract, thymus vulgaris (thyme) extract, cinnamomum zeylancum* (cinnamon) bark extract, rosmarinus officinalis* (rosemary) leaf extract, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal) extract *organic

Baked Eyeshadow Palette Trio Review – Lemongrass Spa Products

Baked Eyeshadow Palette Trio Sheer Mineral Makeup Lemongrass Spa Products

I love the fact that LGS now carries both loose powder eye shadows AND these fabulous Baked Eyeshadow Palettes!

You’ll get three colors in each of these beautiful palettes made with the highest quality natural ingredients. Jojoba oil and safflower seed oil helps the product to stay in the palette pan and cling better to your eyelids, nourish your lids while you look amazing, and help increase the saturation of the colors. Beauty and quality – the perfect couple!

So, what’s the difference between loose powder and pressed, or baked, eyeshadows? I would say, aside from different ingredients, there isn’t much of a difference. It boils down to what form you like to work with the most. Some would say the baked powder is a bit nicer for traveling and many people are more comfortable applying a baked powder rather than a loose one.

Ultra Hydrating Body Creme Review – Best Lemongrass Spa Products

When I say “Ultra”, I DO mean ULTRA! This Ultra Hydrating Body Creme from Lemongrass Spa Products is one of the best Lemongrass Spa products because it hasn’t seen a dry patch of skin it can’t moisturize!

Success Stories

Because I get to be part of the best Lemongrass Spa Products Consultant Community ever, I get to hear lots of stories about how our products have successfully helped people with all kinds of different skin issues. There are nurses who wash their hands a hundred times a day and are suffering from dry, chapped, raw skin. Babies dealing with the itchy, painful patches of eczema. Beach-goers that ended up with sunburn despite their best efforts. It seems like this body creme helps bring comfort to them all.

I know for me and my family, in the middle of a dry Wisconsin winter, we are constantly putting this stuff on. You know that “Ahhh” feeling when your hands have been so dry and you finally get the best lotion on and rubbed in? Every. Single. Time.

Ingredients

One great explanation for why this creme is so awesome can be summed up in two words: Aloe Vera. One of the main ingredients in this wonder-lotion is aloe vera gel. It has a long history of healing things like burns, frost bite and other tissue damage. This exhaustive article on the uses of aloe vera from Restorative Medicine gives a fascinating education on ways aloe vera can be used outside of our topical application with this lotion.

Another of my favorite ingredients is jojoba seed oil. It is perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. According to the International Jojoba Export Council, jojoba seed oil soothes skin, gently unclogs pores to remove impurities, acts as emollient (meaning: preparation that softens the skin) with skin’s natural sebum, can treat stretch marks, after-sun moisturizer, and can even rehydrate hair!

Choices

There are two ways to purchase the Ultra Hydrating Body Creme. The 6oz container sells by itself or with the Loving Care Gift Set. This set was originally assembled with a special group of people in mind – those who have been diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing some type of treatment. There are three products in the gift set. They do not have any added smells and are rich in healing ingredients. Included are: Healing Elements Balm, Organic Skin and Nail Balm, and the Ultra Hydrating Body Creme. (Purchasing the Loving Care gift set also saves you money on each product.)

Because the Ultra Hydrating Body Creme is fragrance-free, it’s the perfect carrier for your favorite essential oil blend. I love to add our Frankincense oil or the Balancing Act blend. Not only is it fragrance-free, but it’s also nut-free and gluten-free so it can be used on even the most sensitive skin types. Which is why it’s one of the best Lemongrass products! (All of our products are always cruelty-free.)

Hydrating Facial Mask Review – Lemongrass Spa Products

hydrating facial mask lemongrass spa products

Put on your mask … to reveal the real you!

My skin never feels so smooth, soft and nourished as after I use the Hydrating Facial Mask by Lemongrass Spa Products.

A creamy mask that is enhanced with pomegranate and seaberry seed extract for antioxidant benefits, pink kaolin clay to draw out impurities and shea butter to hydrate and prove elasticity and radiance of skin.

Product History

This is one of the products that was reformulated when the company made a goal to eliminate all the phthalate-free fragrances in all the products. When I first used the Hydrating Facial Mask, it seemed SO delicious! But that smell came as a result of a phthalate-free fragrance. Now, that type of fragrance is much better than what you’ll find in regular perfumes and lotions but it still wasn’t good enough for lemongrass Spa! Do you see why I love this company so much? They made a commitment to up their game further by eliminating something that was okay to make the end product even better.

Through the process of reformulating products that had phthalate-free fragrances in them, the company took the opportunity to enhance and improve the mask by adding seaberry seed extract. Otherwise known as sea buckthorn oil, the small golden berry yields five times more vitamin C than an orange! Rich in omega fatty acids 7,3,6 and 9, seaberry seed extract promotes elasticity and regeneration. It also helps treat and prevent acne. Especially helpful for hydration, the new mask is highly recommended for normal to dry skin.
